    We have discovered more about the family of J B Garnham who figured prominently in the activities of Castles Shipbreaking during the early 1900s.  Garnham assisted significantly with the continuation of shipbreaking activities by the Castle family in the newly formed company Castles Shipbreaking Ltd in 1905, which was formed after the bankruptcy of Henry Castle & Sons Ltd in 1904. A photograph of JBG is shown above and was kindly provided by a family member.
